Affordable Bankruptcy Fees

Bankruptcy Lawyer

Affordable Bankruptcy Fees are possible in Houston

You can have affordable bankruptcy fees without compromising the quality of representation or your experience. Sometimes it seems that you are Too Broke to File for Bankruptcy. We understand. There have been many articles discussing this. It seems a little too ironic and it is somewhat of a tragedy.

 Blame Congress for higher fees

Like many other bankruptcy attorneys, we blame Congress for the increase in bankruptcy attorney fees and costs. As one blogger points out, the 2005 Bankruptcy act could very well be one of the most devastating personal finance disasters of recent times. When the average fee in the late 1990’s was $500 to $750, the fee for a Chapter 7 has now triple to quadrupled. When the Bankruptcy Abuse and Consumer Protection Act was passed in 2005, it required ALL debtors to provide a number of financial documents and do mathematical calculations to determine a debtor’s eligibility to file. Even the United States Trustee said the new law would only affect 3% of all filers. The problems was that all the new rules that Congress passed applied to ALL DEBTORS, not just those 3% cases. We think it is a shame that when Congress changed the laws, it caused 97% of the public to incur higher court costs and attorney fees.

We decided to do something about this. We understand your concern. Affordable bankruptcy fees are possible and our three bankruptcy attorneys with nearly 30 years of experience will bring it to you. We have handled thousands of cases and helped eliminate over $5 million dollars in debt. Simple cases are still simple even though the paperwork burden is greater now. However, because of our experience, we have streamlined our methods to enable us to handle the easy cases much more efficiently.

What does this Mean to YOU?

It means that we can provide high quality bankruptcy representation in exchange for affordable bankruptcy fees. To help the hardworking Houston citizens, we have created a $1000.00 fixed fee Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Special (plus costs). The case must be a consumer case and your income must be under the median income (see below).
