Houston – In order to assist their Texas clients with all legal needs, the law firm of Busby and Associates is joining forces with the firm of Peniche and Rojas. The two Houston law practices are announcing an “of counsel” relationship with one another.
Busby and Associates is currently comprised of a group of family law attorneys whose area of expertise is divorce in Houston and divorce and common law divorce in Texas. They are also experienced in bankruptcy, foreclosure and consumer credit counseling. By joining with the Houston law firm of Carlos and Peniche, they are able to offer their clients services in civil litigation, personal injury law, immigration law, employment law, business law and international affairs.

Carlos Peniche is a twenty-seven-year double board certified civil litigation attorney with an extensive business practice. He has tried over sixty jury trials to a verdict and is also board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Civil Trial Law and Personal Injury Trial Law. He represents small and midsized business in contracts, commercial disputes, collections and employment law issues.
Michael Rojas is licensed in both Texas and Mexico. In addition to handling business law and civil litigation with partner Carlos Peniche, he has an extensive docket pertaining to international matters for both business and individuals.
“I especially enjoy helping people work out what can be difficult family law issues including cross border international child abductions, divorces, child custody cases and adoptions. Because I am licensed in both Texas and Mexico, I can help you with your business, family and immigration law issues both here and in Mexico,” said Rojas.
Rojas attended and graduated from law school in Monterrey Mexico, attending the school on the weekends and studying in Houston on weeknights – while maintaining his fulltime law practice.
