There stereotypical belief that a woman can’t do a man’s job is ever increasingly being abolished by powerful women in high positions. However, we should keep in mind that bodily women aren’t as powerful and intimidating as men. He question should thus be asked whether there are some positions that by natural order men do better than women and if being a divorce attorney is one of them…
Men are physically more intimidating than women, but in this case it does not apply. You need someone efficient, orderly and that does not back down in a fight when looking for a divorce attorney. In this case both men and women are subject to this criterion.
Many will argue that men will make better divorce attorneys because of the biased assumption that men are more logical and calm and that women are emotional wrecks in times of a crisis. This assumption is being slowly rectified by powerful businesswomen and women involved in politics. However, there is a grain of truth in this assumption. Women are more likely to fall victim to stressful situations and are more vulnerable to assault, domestic violence and rape.
Taking into account this vulnerability, it should seem strange that there are so many women working as divorce lawyers. In small towns this may not occur a lot, but women divorce lawyers in big cities such as Houston is much more common.
There are over 250 law firms in Houston at present, which seems more than enough for just on the city. However, Houston has a population of over 2.1 million people and is the fourth largest city in America. In the context of the mass population, 250 law firms are not enough. In such a big city as Houston one would expect that the women and men are equal.
The truth is that the amount of men divorce attorneys still outweighs women divorce attorneys and outshines them. Houston divorce lawyer Gregory T. Josefsberg was awarded an L.L.M. In taxation, which less than 5% of all lawyers are conferred.

In contrast, Nancy H. Boler owns a law firm with offices in Baytown and Houston and has 20 years’ worth of experience as a Houston divorce lawyer.
It can be argued that men make better divorce attorneys and facts do seem to support this notion when looking to the Harris County area. However, before making a decision, it should be noted that generally there are more men than women in Harris County’s current population. This seems to be a recurring fact which must be taken into account when deciding whether a woman or a man makes a good divorce attorney. While women have groundbreaking progress in uplifting themselves and improving the standard of their human rights, the harsh reality is that men have the upper hand and that women are still ages behind (like the Deer Park divorce lawyer, Slate). This is a result of religious beliefs in many cases where women are undermined and the stereotypical thought that women are inferior.
America was built on the foundation of religious tolerance and sees itself as a civilized entity that improves women’s rights and supports their bid for power. Yet these goals undermine each other because most religions objectify their women and treat the, as less than men. For true woman empowerment to occur, we need to change the foundations on which we built our moral and ethical beliefs where women and men will truly be equal.
